Beirut: Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Youssef Raggi, held a meeting with Margaux Bergeon-Dars, the Director of the Office of the UNESCO Director-General in Paris. She was accompanied by Paolo Fontani, the Director of UNESCO Regional Office in Beirut and UNESCO Representative in Lebanon. The visit was primarily an acquaintance meeting with the foreign minister.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the discussions focused on exploring ways to strengthen the partnership between Lebanon and UNESCO. During the meeting, Margaux Bergeon-Dars assured that UNESCO’s office in Beirut will continue to serve as the organization’s regional center.
