Tripoli: The fourth phase of the organized return of Syrian refugees departed from Tripoli toward the Arida border crossing, as part of the Lebanese government’s plan to facilitate voluntary returns. The operation was organized by Lebanon’s General Security under the supervision of Colonel Hadi Hariri, head of North Lebanon’s National Security Division, with Colonel Azar Al-Shami and Colonel Talal Hamdan in attendance.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, Syrian returnees were provided full logistical support, exemption from fees, and expedited procedures. The operation was coordinated with UNHCR, the IOM, the Lebanese Red Cross, and other humanitarian organizations.
