FPM Calls on Hezbollah to Avoid Civilian Areas Amid Conflict

Beirut: The Free Patriotic Movement has issued a statement urging Hezbollah officials to take moral responsibility and avoid hiding among displaced civilians and host communities. The call comes in the context of heightened tensions and ongoing conflict with Israel, posing a significant threat to the safety of Lebanese civilians hosting displaced individuals.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the FPM emphasized the need for Hezbollah's officials, cadres, and leaders to refrain from mingling or residing among civilians. The movement condemned the crimes committed by Israel but stressed the importance of protecting civilian lives, maintaining civil peace, and preserving national unity.

The FPM further urged Hezbollah members to concentrate their presence in active front-line areas where direct resistance occurs. This strategy, according to the statement, is crucial for safeguarding civilian lives and ensuring the integrity of the national fabric amid the ongoing hostilities.
