French Consular Delegation Visits Lebanese Hospital

Jakarta:A delegation from the French Consulate General in Lebanon visited Hôpital Français du Levant. The visit included an introductory meeting and a tour of the hospital's medical departments, organized by Dr. Antoine Maalouf, Chairman of the hospital's Board of Directors and President of IRCAD Lebanon.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, the delegation was composed of Consul General Eric Amblard, Head of Social Services Moukhalifa Amara, Deputy Consul Laure Casey, and Pascale Harfouche, who is responsible for special affairs.

During their visit, Dr. Maalouf detailed the hospital's services and showcased the advanced technologies and pioneering surgical procedures used by the medical teams. He emphasized the capability of Lebanese medical professionals to keep up with international developments and provide care comparable to leading global healthcare systems.

The visiting delegation was also briefed on IRCAD Lebanon, a center dedicated to training in minimally invasive and robotic surgery. The center collaborates with international experts to promote surgical education and facilitate the transfer of expertise and advanced techniques to Lebanon and the surrounding region.

Members of the delegation expressed their admiration for the hospital's medical capabilities and the expertise of its staff. They also indicated their intention to maintain communication and monitor the hospital's future medical and scientific advancements.
