Gazans Flee Homes from the North as Israel Resumes Its Aggression

Gaza: The town of Beit Hanoun, located in the northern Gaza Strip, witnessed a significant exodus of residents on Tuesday morning. Citizens were seen fleeing towards the town of Jabalia in search of safety. This movement coincided with the renewed aggression by Israeli occupation forces against the Gaza Strip.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the latest hostilities have raised fears of an escalation in violence, including increased bombing, destruction, and fatalities. These fears are compounded by demands from the occupation forces for citizens to evacuate Beit Hanoun in the north, and Khirbet Khuza’a, Abasan al-Kabira, and al-Jadidah in the south, directing them towards areas west of Gaza City and the Mawasi area of Khan Yunis.

The aggression, which resumed at dawn after a hiatus of over two months, involved a series of intensive airstrikes and missile launches targeting several areas in the Strip. Medical sources have reported that the death toll from the Israeli bombardment has reached 326, with the majority being children and women. Additionally, 660 citizens have sustained injuries, and many victims remain trapped under the rubble.

Since the onset of the aggression on October 7, 2023, by the occupying forces, over 48,572 citizens have lost their lives, most of whom were children and women. Furthermore, 112,032 others have been injured, while numerous victims are still unaccounted for beneath the debris.
