Beirut: Lebanese Forces Party leader Samir Geagea on Friday met in Maarab with Kataeb Party parliamentary bloc MP Nadim Gemayel, in the presence of "Strong Republic" bloc MP Ghassan Hasbani. During the meeting, Gemayel formally invited Geagea to attend the commemoration gathering scheduled to take place on September 13, on the eve of the anniversary of the assassination of Lebanese Forces founder and former President Bachir Gemayel.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the meeting also provided an opportunity to discuss political developments, particularly developments on the ground in southern Lebanon, as well as regional developments and their repercussions.
