GEMAYEL: PARLIAMENT SESSION AIMS TO FOMENT SECTARIAN TENSION

MP Sami Gemayel on Thursday explained that the parliament becomes an electoral body in the event of a constitutional vacuum, adding that it is not entitled to convening for any purpose than the election of a president of the republic.

In remarks upon the Kataeb bloc’s walkout of the parliament, Gemayel said that today’s session aims to foment a sectarian tension.
