Beirut: Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdul Latif Derian on Monday welcomed Minister of Information, Paul Morcos, at the Dar al-Fatwa as part of his tour of key religious figures. The pair reportedly discussed current developments in Lebanon, as well as broader Arab and regional issues.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the meeting focused on the latest political and social dynamics in Lebanon, alongside pertinent developments across the Arab world, in a bid to foster understanding and cooperation between the religious and governmental sectors.
