Beirut: MP Marwan Hamadeh announced that the date for resuming negotiations is expected to be set within the next two days, asserting that there are no concerns over the talks proceeding despite the controversy surrounding the Ali Al-Taher issue.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Hamadeh conveyed during an interview with "Voice of All Lebanon" Radio Channel that the outcome of the negotiations would remain unchanged regardless of forthcoming scenarios. He hinted at a possible proposal from Lebanon to designate the hills as a new pilot area. Additionally, Hamadeh revealed President Joseph Aoun's hopes for Ali Al-Taher's handover to the Lebanese Army, which could facilitate a ceasefire.

The MP emphasized the need for Hezbollah to act responsibly and pragmatically, urging them not to link Lebanon's political trajectory to the negotiations occurring in Islamabad. He stressed that Lebanon's negotiating strength is derived from national unity and the state's political influence rather than military power.

Hamadeh called for an end to futile wars, advocating for a truce as a strategy to secure Lebanon's future. He highlighted the significance of the president and government's role in the process, urging dialogue with Hezbollah's community while upholding Lebanon's borders.
