Former Prime Minister, Saad Hariri, on Monday said via Twitter, “The legislative elections have ended, and Lebanon stands at a new turning point. Lebanon has reaped real victory by the entry of new blood into its political life. We’ve made the right decision to withdraw from elections. The structures of political dysfunction have been shaken, yet this does not mean abandoning our responsibilities. We are adamant to carry out Rafik Hariri’s dreams and to open our hearts and homes to our people. We ask of God to protect Lebanon.”
