Caretaker Minister of Telecommunications, Talal Hawat, on Tuesday received in his office the Japanese Ambassador to Lebanon, Takeshi Okubo, and discussed with him ways to enhance bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries at all levels, especially in terms of providing support in the field of technology, infrastructure development and internet upgrading.

Minister Hawat also met with MP Walid Al-Baarini, with whom he discussed the conditions in north Lebanon and how to improve the telecommunications network, especially in Akkar.
