Beirut: The Ministry of Public Health on Monday said Israeli attacks continue to systematically target ambulance teams, reporting two separate strikes on Civil Defense points.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, one strike near the municipality of Tyre Diba killed one paramedic and wounded two others, while another in Jouaya killed a second paramedic and injured four more.
The ministry said the toll of wounded and killed rescue workers continues to rise, accusing Israel of disregarding international laws and conventions by targeting emergency responders.
It called on the international community to assume responsibility and put an end to what it described as ongoing violations that threaten humanitarian work.
