15 PEOPLE INDICTED IN KAFTOUN CRIME

The government’s commissioner to the military court, acting Judge Fadi Akiki, has indicted 15 detainees of Lebanese and Syrian nationalities in the horrid crime which had been perpetrated Kaftoun villages.

 

This crime involved operations carried out against the Lebanese army, which resulted in casualties among the military ranks.

 

The judge referred the detainees’ files to the military examining magistrate.

 

Meanwhile, investigations continue by the Lebanese army intelligence, with seven other detainees under the supervision of Judge Akiki.
