VACCINATION PROCESS BEGINS AT RAFIC HARIRI UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL

Rafic Hariri University Hospital launched this morning the first vaccination campaign against the Corona epidemic for health care workers at the COVID-19 Vaccine Center, which was rehabilitated and equipped with a grant from the Al-Waleed Bin Talal Humanitarian Foundation.

Caretaker Prime Minister Hassan Diab had inspected the Corona Vaccine Center in the hospital, where he was received by Caretaker Public Health Minister Hamad Hassan, Chairman of the National Committee for Corona Vaccine Management, Dr. Abdel-Rahman al-Bizri, and the General Director of the Hospital, Dr. Firas al-Abyad.

On another note, Rafic Hariri University Hospital, in cooperation with the National Council for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, launched the “Call Center for COVID-19 Vaccine Service.” This center aims to facilitate and enable citizens and residents to obtain information and guidance related to all COVID-19 vaccines.

The call center includes a team of volunteers trained to help to fill out the registration form for all those wishing to take the vaccine or to follow-up on the registration form previously filled out.

The center has also launched an innovative technology to answer citizens’ questions, dedicating an automated robot doctor (chatbot) to answer any questions about the vaccine, by sending questions to the WhatsApp Service # 81-919469 to receive answers from the robot on all medical matters.

It is to note that the call center operates from eight in the morning until six in the evening, seven days a week, including official holidays, through the number 01-832070.
