Social Affairs Minister Hector Hajjar’s press office issued a statement this afternoon, in which it referred to a recently circulated group of fabricated and abusive tweets targeting the Social Affairs Minister via fake accounts on Twitter using his name.

“It is important for Minister Hajjar to confirm that he does not have any personal account on Twitter until now or on any other means of social media,” the statement clarified, denying the spreading tweets as baseless.
