Beirut:Hezbollah Secretary General, Sheikh Naim Qassem, highlighted the ongoing commitment of the group to resist Israeli presence in Lebanon during a memorial event for Al-Sayid Hassan Nasrallah and Al-Sayid Hashem Safieddine. He emphasized the importance of unity and cooperation among all Lebanese factions to maintain the country's integrity and sovereignty.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, Qassem criticized the Lebanese government's approach to the "framework agreement" with Israel, accusing it of weakening the country's negotiating stance by aligning with positions favorable to Israel and the United States. He urged for the suspension of direct negotiations in favor of an indirect approach that would garner broader national support.

Qassem further announced Hezbollah's initiative to assist displaced families through the "Shelter" housing project, which will be funded by the organization's resources and donations. He called for additional support from international states and organizations while urging the Lebanese state to take responsibility for compensation and reconstruction efforts.

He also acknowledged the role of youth and community volunteers in mitigating the impact of recent aggressions and praised the support from Iran and the Houthi movement in Yemen for their solidarity with regional causes. Qassem concluded by expressing optimism that the future of the region belongs to its people, crediting the sacrifices of resistance figures for paving the way toward victory.
