IDAL Chief Engages in Economic Cooperation Talks with Diplomats from Indonesia and Iraq

Beirut: Chairman of the Investment Development Authority of Lebanon (IDAL), Majed Mneimneh, recently held meetings with Indonesian Ambassador Dicky Komar and Iraqi Charg© d'Affaires Nada Karim Majoul to discuss opportunities for enhancing economic cooperation and investment between Lebanon and their respective countries.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Mneimneh's meeting with Ambassador Komar centered on expanding economic and investment collaboration, particularly in the areas of tourism, creative industries, and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The discussions also focused on leveraging Indonesia's successful experience in developing and marketing local products on a global scale, aiming to replicate similar strategies within Lebanon.

In his discussions with Iraqi Charg© d'Affaires Nada Karim Majoul, Mneimneh explored ways to strengthen bilateral economic relations. The talks included IDAL's involvement in the Iraqi oil sector and plans to revamp the Lebanese-Iraqi trade exchange platform. This initiative aims to facilitate business connectivity, boost trade and investment, and open new avenues for economic cooperation between Lebanon and Iraq, signaling a strategic move to enhance bilateral ties and economic growth.
