Integrity arrests an official in Salah Al-Din’s Health Directorate, red-handed, embezzling medical materials

The Federal Integrity Commission arrested an official in Salah Al-Din Health Directorate in the act of embezzling medical materials.

Speaking about the details of the operation, which was carried out according to a court note, the Commission’s Investigation Department stated, “The Commission’s investigation office in Salah Al-Din formed a team to investigate the information that its field team monitored about the loss of a large number of drugs given to patients with delayed growth from the stores of the pharmacy department of the Salah Al-Din Health Department, and selling it in the local markets.

It added: “The team began investigation, and audit work, and moved to the stores of the pharmacy department of the Salah Al-Din Health Department, where it was able to arrest the Director of the department accused of embezzling (1119) pens of (Nordtropin) that is given to patients with delayed growth from the stores of the pharmacy department of the affiliated for the Salah Al-Din Health Department, which is equipped by the Ministry of Health.

It noted that “a fundamental report was organized, and he was presented with the accused and the seized exhibits to the competent investigating judge, who decided to detain him pending investigation, based on the provisions of Article (316) of the Penal Code, while he decided to take legal measures against the store official in the department according to the same ruling article.”
