Beirut: Interior and Municipalities Minister, Ahmad Al-Hajjar, expressed his gratitude to the security services following the conclusion of the Pope’s visit. The minister posted on the ministry’s “X” platform account, acknowledging the significant contributions made by the Internal Security Forces, General Security, Civil Defense, and the Lebanese Army. He also extended his thanks to governors and municipalities for their role in managing the visit.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, Al-Hajjar highlighted the professionalism and discipline demonstrated by officers, personnel, and volunteers who ensured security, organized traffic, and facilitated citizen access to meeting places. He praised their efforts in presenting a positive image of Lebanon to the world. The minister also commended the unity and solidarity of the Lebanese people during the historic visit.
