Tehran: Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has emphasized that improved relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia will be mutually beneficial, highlighting the potential for the two nations to complement each other effectively.
According to National News Agency – Lebanon, Ayatollah Khamenei expressed these sentiments during a meeting with Saudi Arabia’s Defense Minister, Prince Khalid bin Salman Al Saud, in Tehran. During the meeting, Prince Khalid delivered a message from King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to the Iranian leader.
Ayatollah Khamenei underscored the challenges faced by both countries in enhancing their bilateral ties, noting that opposition exists but should be overcome. He assured that Iran is fully prepared to address any hostile intentions that might hinder the development of these relations.
Highlighting Iran’s advancements in various sectors, Ayatollah Khamenei offered Iran’s assistance to Saudi Arabia, stressing the importance of mutual support between the two nations. He pointed out that it is preferable for brothers to support each other rather than relying on external parties.
