Iraqi Parliament Begins Vote Counting for Presidential Election

Baghdad: The Iraqi Parliament began counting and sorting votes today for the presidential election. The Parliament's media office stated in a press release received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "Parliament has begun the process of counting and sorting votes for the presidential election."

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Parliament Speaker Haibat al-Halbousi confirmed that 252 votes were cast in the presidential election.
