BEIRUT: In a significant escalation of regional tensions, the Islamic Resistance has released 26 military statements detailing extensive operations conducted on Saturday, November 2, 2024. These operations were carried out in response to Israeli military actions along the Lebanese-Palestinian border and targeted various Israeli military installations and settlements. The statements emphasize the group’s support for the Palestinian people in Gaza and its commitment to defending Lebanon and its citizens.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the military actions began at 2:30 am with a missile barrage targeting the Glilot base of Unit 8200, located on the outskirts of Tel Aviv. This operation was part of the ‘Khaibar’ series and was a response to Israeli assaults and massacres. The Islamic Resistance fighters reportedly followed this with a drone attack at 7:45 am on the same base, achieving precise hits on their targets.

The operations continued throughout the day, with significant attacks including a
n air assault on the Shraga base, headquarters of the Golani Brigade, north of Acre, and a drone strike on the Ramat David base and airfield. Additionally, a series of missile barrages were launched at various northern Israeli settlements, such as Sha’al, Dalton, Yesud HaMa’ala, Bar Yohai, and Birya, as well as targeted attacks on military gatherings and bases including the Zvulun military industries and Palmachim airbase.

Further military engagements occurred at various locations, including the Krayot area north of Haifa and the Zvulun base, which was targeted twice with missile barrages. The Islamic Resistance also targeted the ELTA military industries company and the regional logistics regiment of the Northern Command at Misgav base.

The day’s operations culminated with a missile barrage on an Israeli army gathering in Avivim settlement at 8:30 pm. The Islamic Resistance reported successful hits on military equipment and personnel, resulting in casualties and forcing Israeli forces to retreat in some ins
tances.

These actions by the Islamic Resistance mark a significant moment in the ongoing conflict, underscoring the group’s resolve in the face of Israeli military activities. The situation remains tense as both sides continue to engage in hostilities along the border regions.
