The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon on Friday issued the following statement: "In support of our steadfast Palestinian people in Gaza and in solidarity with their brave and honorable resistance, and in response to the enemy's attacks on the resilient southern villages and safe homes, Islamic Resistance fighters on Friday, August 23, 2024, targeted the surveillance equipment at the Air Monitoring and Operations Management Unit in the enemy's Meron base with appropriate weapons, resulting in its complete destruction."
