Israeli Airstrikes Across South Lebanon Leave Multiple Casualties

Beirut: Israeli warplanes on Monday carried out a series of airstrikes earlier today targeting several towns across south Lebanon, including Kounine, Debaal, Bint Jbeil, Tayri, Qlaileh, Srifa, Ainata, and Khirbet Selm.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, in Shoukine, one person was killed and another seriously wounded when an airstrike destroyed their home. Three people were also killed in Kfartabnit after a strike leveled a house, while two others were killed when an Israeli drone targeted their car on the road between Bint Jbeil and Aitaroun. A municipal police officer was also killed in Shebaa in a separate drone strike.

In Jouaya and Tayr Diba, heavy airstrikes caused extensive destruction to homes, infrastructure, and markets, leaving at least 11 people dead and dozens wounded.

Israeli reconnaissance and warplanes continued aerial surveillance over villages in the Tyre and Bint Jbeil districts as the Lebanese Army intensified patrols in Tyre.
