Beirut: Israeli artillery shelling has targeted multiple towns and villages in southern Lebanon, with air raids reported on the outskirts of Houmine al-Fawqa and Ain Qana. The southern Lebanese town of Baraashit in the Bint Jbeil district, along with the towns of Mansouri and Ramadiyeh and the areas of Jabal al-Botom in the Tyre district, were specifically targeted.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Israeli warplanes launched airstrikes targeting the outskirts of the towns of Houmine al-Fawqa and Ain Qana in the Iqlim al-Tuffah region. Additionally, the town of Zawtar al-Sharqiyah was also subjected to an air raid.
The southern Lebanese towns of Kfar Tebnit and Zawtar al-Sharqiyah experienced intermittent artillery shelling, with the area surrounding the scout city in Zawtar town also facing artillery attacks.
NNA correspondent reported that Israeli forces fired phosphorus shells towards the area located between the towns of Qounine and Ainatha, further escalating the situation in the region.
