The Italian Foreign Ministry has welcomed the conduct of timely parliamentary elections in Lebanon with no security issues, Italy’s Nova news agency said on Wednesday.

Italy has also urged the formation of a new government to enact the required reforms and revive the economy. It stressed that it will continue to support Lebanon.
