According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the municipality issued a statement clarifying that the image in question was artificially created using advanced techniques. The statement emphasized that the Lebanese Army has consistently maintained a presence in the town's square since the onset of recent security events, ensuring that no Israeli forces or vehicles infiltrate Jdeidet Marjeyoun.
The municipality strongly condemned the spread of what it called "malicious rumors," highlighting the potential for such false information to cause unnecessary confusion and anxiety among residents.
