Public Prosecutor in Mount Lebanon, Judge Ghada Aoun, tweeted today:

“A defendant abroad and in Lebanon, under money laundering charges and a felony of forgery in the bank’s budgets…The Lebanese state sued him and asked for his arrest….He enters and leaves freely with security protection, while no one questions? An inquiry at the disposal of the people, the Judicial Council and every official. Let us know if the law applies to all people or not…while noting that there is an open subpoena issued against him by the Appeal Public Prosecution in Mount Lebanon. Why was it not implemented?”
