Doha: Former Progressive Socialist Party leader, Walid Jumblatt, on Tuesday met with Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani in Doha. He was accompanied by Taymour Jumblatt and MP Hadi Aboul Hosn.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the discussions centered on the latest developments in Lebanon and the broader region, as well as the bilateral relations between Lebanon and Qatar. Jumblatt highlighted Qatar's efforts in reducing regional tensions and their pursuit of diplomatic solutions to ongoing crises. He expressed gratitude for Doha's continued support for Lebanon, acknowledging its consistent backing of the country across various sectors and circumstances.
