Justice Minister Addresses Journalist Interception by Armed Men Near Kafa’at

Beirut: Justice Minister Adel Nassar issued a statement this evening, referring to news he received about armed individuals, likely affiliated with Hezbollah, who reportedly intercepted journalists near the Kafa'at area.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Nassar stated, "I immediately contacted the Public Prosecutor at the Court of Cassation, Attorney General Judge Jamal Al-Hajjar, and the Government Commissioner to the Military Court, Judge Claude Ghanem, who are directly following up on this matter."

He added that, in turn, both Judges contacted the security services to follow up on the case and take all necessary legal measures.
