Beirut: A conference titled ‘Challenges Facing the Judiciary and Ways to Address Them’ was held at Universit© La Sagesse, organized by its Faculty of Law. The event, under the patronage of Justice Minister Adel Nassar, included speeches by the minister, the Beirut Bar Association president, and the university president, focusing on discussions to ensure judicial independence.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, later in the day, a dialogue session took place at the Economic, Social and Environmental Council. Finance Minister Yassine Jaber led discussions on the ongoing IMF negotiations and the financial sector reform plan.

In the evening, the Shamlane Cultural Forum hosted a seminar at journalist Nabil Al-Moqaddem’s residence in Shamlane public square. The seminar, titled ‘Lebanon: Anticipating the Future,’ brought together various stakeholders to discuss the nation’s prospects.

Concluding the day’s events, the ‘Heart of Zahle’ list for municipal and mukhtar elections was launched at the Crystal Kadri Grand Hotel in Zahle. The launch marked the beginning of the electoral process in Zahle-Maalaqa-Taanayel.
