Prime Minister Saad Hariri said during a dialogue at the Carnegie Middle East Center Conference that the policy of dissociation is extremely important.
“Those who do not respect this principle will be the only ones to be blamed. We will not allow the Lebanese people to pay the price. The Future movement is committed to this policy even if some do not share our opinion at the regional level, he said.
After recalling the difficult economic situation in Lebanon, he stressed the need to implement the roadmaps of international conferences whose objectives are the establishment of political stability and support for security forces.
“If we get support at the Paris Conference, it would then be possible, by granting loans to host countries, to resolve the crisis of displaced Syrians,” he said, finally declaring that Lebanon serves the international community which, in turn, must extending a helping hand.
