Lebanon’s iconic Musician Elias Rahbani passed away on Monday at the age of 83.
The late legendary Rahbani, born in 1938, was the yonger brother of the late renowned Assi and Mansour Rahbani, and a distinguished music composer, producer, songwriter, and orchestra conductor.
He composed more than 2,500 songs and tunes, in addition to thousand soundtracks for 25 films, including Egyptian films and series, as well as piano musical pieces.
Elias Rahbani composed several songs for a large number of veteran Lebanese artists and divas, most notably for Fayrouz, Sabah, Wadih Al Safi, Nasri Shamseddine, Melhem Barakat, Majida Al Roumi, Julia Boutros and others.
