Beirut: King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain has declared his nation’s decision to set up a permanent Bahraini diplomatic mission in Beirut during a meeting with General Joseph Aoun, the President of Lebanon.
According to National News Agency – Lebanon, King Hamad expressed hope that the establishment of a diplomatic mission would signify a new chapter in bilateral cooperation in various domains of mutual interest. This move is seen as a significant step in strengthening ties between Bahrain and Lebanon.
President Aoun extended his gratitude to King Hamad for this decision, emphasizing the potential for resuming full trade exchange and enhancing cooperation in multiple areas for the benefit of both nations. He also expressed his appreciation for the warm hospitality and the continuous support Bahrain has extended to Lebanon.
