King Salman Aid Center Initiates Major Relief Projects in Lebanon

Beirut: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center has launched two significant relief projects in Lebanon, titled “Food Basket in the Republic of Lebanon 2025” and “Kanaf Lebanon 2025”, during a ceremony held in Beirut.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the event was attended by notable figures including Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon Waleed Bukhari and Lebanon’s Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdul Latif Derian, alongside the relief team from the center in Lebanon. These initiatives are set to distribute over 106,000 food baskets throughout the year, along with more than 22,000 shopping vouchers for clothing over a span of two months. This effort is expected to benefit over 550,000 individuals across various Lebanese governorates.

These projects form a part of Saudi Arabia’s extensive humanitarian and relief efforts, spearheaded by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center. The center’s mission is to bolster food security and provide essential support to countries in need globally.
