KOBAYAT FIRE EXPANDS, SUFFOCATION CASES HIT 17 AMID RED CROSS EFFORTS TO RESCUE CITIZENS

Lebanese Red Cross ambulances have managed to evacuate and rescue 17 people who were suffocating inside their homes in the vicinity of the fire, which is still ravaging the outskirts of the town of kobayat in Akkar. A wounded person was transferred to the “Al-Salam” Hospital in Kobayat.

Lebanese Army helicopters, civil defense teams, and volunteers from Kobayat and other Akkari areas are working on extinguishing the fire, which has expanded towards new areas of Mount Akroum.
