Kuwait Crown Prince’s participation in UK King coronation reflects deep ties – FM

Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Salem Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah said His Highness the Amir’s Representative, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah’s presence at UK King Charles III’s coronation ceremony reflects deep ties between both sides’ leaders, peoples and royals.

In a statement to KUNA and Kuwait Television on the sidelines of his participation in the coronation ceremony on Saturday, he said His Highness the Crown Prince met King Charles III at a reception at Buckingham Palace on Friday and conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

The foreign minister added that King Charles III expressed gratitude for the bilateral ties, and thanked His Highness the Crown Prince for participating in the coronation ceremony.

He pointed out that King Charles III visited Kuwait eight times when he was Crown Prince of the United Kingdom, and is familiar with Kuwait and appreciates it so much.

He stressed that the coronation day is a historic day for the British, and the leadership and people of Kuwait share joy with the British people on this day, wishing the King of Britain further best of luck.
