Beirut: The Lebanese Army held a ceremony at the Benoit Barakat military barracks in Tyre to mark Armed Forces Day. The event was attended by officers and soldiers and was presided over by Tyre military sector commander Brigadier General Antoine Rizkallah, who represented Army Commander General Rodolph Haykal.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the ceremony commenced with the national anthem and the raising of the Lebanese flag. This was followed by a military salute, as Brigadier General Rizkallah reviewed the assembled officers and troops. He then read the army commander's Order of the Day, highlighting the significance of the occasion and the dedication of the armed forces.
