AID PLANE PROVIDED BY MALTA TO ARRIVE IN BEIRUT TODAY

Rome – An aid plane from the Republic of Malta to Lebanon will be arriving today at Rafic Hariri International Airport in Beirut, carrying food and medical aid, including large quantities of insulin.

 

Lebanon’s ambassador to Italy, Mira Daher, told the National News Agency that “the friendly country, Malta, has responded to Lebanon’s call for help,” thanking the Maltese government “which has, since the first moments of the disaster, expressed its standing by Lebanon. Here it is today, sending a plane of aid, consisting of food and medical supplies, including insulin.”
