A landslide occurred on an Italian island, causing the loss of about ten people and the death of a woman, after heavy rains.

A torrent of mud and rubble swept through the small town of Casamicciola Terme early yesterday and flooded a house, sweeping some cars into the sea, according to media reports and emergency services, quoting the French Press Agency.
