Makary and Haigazian University Discuss Journalist’s Memoir Publication

BEIRUT: Caretaker Minister of Information, Ziad Makary, met with a delegation from Haigazian University at his ministry office on Thursday. The discussion focused on the upcoming publication of a memoir by Ohannes Zenian, a journalist who resided in Lebanon from 1917 until the 1970s.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the delegation was led by Haigazian University’s President, Paul Haidostian. After the meeting, Haidostian addressed reporters, explaining that the dialogue with Minister Makary was centered on the memoir of Zenian. The publication aims to provide insights into the journalist’s experiences and contributions during his time in Lebanon.

The meeting is part of ongoing efforts to preserve and promote the historical narratives of individuals who have played significant roles in Lebanese history. The publication of Zenian’s memoir is expected to offer valuable perspectives on the country’s past, as seen through the eyes of a journalist who witnessed decades of change and development.
