Beirut: Middle East Airlines – Air Liban has announced modifications to its flight schedule for Sunday, 23 February 2025, due to a temporary suspension of air traffic at Rafic Hariri International Airport in Beirut. The airport will be closed from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM on that day, prompting the airline to reschedule several flights.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the airline has made changes to both departure and arrival times to accommodate the temporary airport closure. Passengers are advised to follow the instructions provided by the Internal Security Forces concerning road conditions leading to the airport and ensure they arrive at least two hours before their scheduled departure times.

The flights that have been rescheduled for earlier departures from Beirut include ME320 to Baghdad, ME326 to Al Najaf, ME324 to Erbil, ME263 to Istanbul, and ME229 to Paris. These flights will now depart between 10:55 AM and 11:10 AM, instead of their previous midday schedules.

For flights departing from outstations, ME325 from Erbil, ME264 from Istanbul, and ME230 from Paris have also been rescheduled to leave earlier than initially planned. These adjustments are made to ensure that passengers reach their destinations without significant delays.

Additionally, some flights from Beirut have been delayed to accommodate the air traffic suspension. These include ME-310 to Amman, ME-304 to Cairo, ME-265 to Istanbul, among others. Similarly, delays have been announced for flights arriving in Beirut from outstations like Dusseldorf, Rome, Amman, and others.

Meanwhile, certain flights, both from Beirut and outstations, remain unaffected and will operate as per their original schedules. These include flights to Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Rome, London, and Paris from Beirut, as well as return flights from these cities back to Beirut.

Passengers are encouraged to check the updated schedules and plan their travel accordingly to avoid any inconvenience.
