Prime Minister, Najib Mikati, on Monday chaired at the Grand Serail the first meeting of the ministerial committee tasked with drafting the new government’s policy statement.

The meeting took place in the presence of Vice Prime Minister, Saadé al-Chami and Ministers of Education, Information, Justice, Finance, Administrative Development, Interior, Energy, Culture, Labor, Agriculture, Social Affairs and the Displaced.

The second meeting of the Committee will be held tomorrow [Tuesday] at 11:30 am.
