Prime Minister, Najib Mikati, on Monday held a series of diplomatic and ministerial meetings at the Grand Serail.

In this context, the Prime Minister welcomed French Ambassador to Lebanon, Anne Grillo, with whom he discussed the bilateral relations and the general situation on the local and regional scenes.

Premier Mikati also received Spanish Ambassador to Lebanon, Jesús Santos Aguado.

Premier Mikati then met with Minister of Agriculture, Abbas Hajj Hassa, who said in the wake of the meeting that discussions mainly touched on the issue of food security, especially wheat cultivation.

“We will present an integrated plan, which we are developing with the Ministry of Economy, to the next session of the Council of Ministers,” the Minister maintained.

Mikati separately met with Minister of Justice, Judge Henry Khoury, over the Justice Ministry’s related affairs.

Moreover, the PM met with Head of the Parliamentary Education Committee, MP Bahia Hariri, with whom he broached the country’s general situation.
