Prime Minister Najib Mikati mourned in an issued statement this evening the passing of MP Fayez Ghosn, saying: “My friend, MP Fayez Ghosn, has passed away, leaving behind a great legacy of people’s love and national presence, not only in the Koura region which he loved throughout his life, but in the North and all of Lebanon.”

He added: “On a personal level, we had a friendship and affection that did not change at all times, and his memory will always remain in our hearts.”
