Doha:Minister of Information, Dr. Paul Morcos, made a significant visit to Doha, Qatar, where he engaged in a series of strategic meetings aimed at enhancing media relations between Lebanon and Qatar. These discussions focused on expanding prospects for mutual cooperation in the media sector.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, Minister Morcos held a pivotal meeting with Sheikh Hamad bin Thamer Al Thani, Chairman of Qatar Media Corporation, to explore ways to strengthen cooperation and exchange expertise within the media industry. Minister Morcos expressed his gratitude for being invited to Doha.

In addition, Minister Morcos met with Dr. Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al-Kuwari, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State, and Sheikh Khalid bin Abdulaziz bin Jassim Al Thani, CEO of Qatar Media Corporation. The meetings included Lebanon's Ambassador to Qatar, Bilal Qabalan, and several media professionals and journalists, focusing on the current state of the media sector and future collaboration, especially with Radio Lebanon.

Minister Morcos also participated in a ceremony celebrating the 30th anniversary of Al Jazeera Media Network, attended by Qatar's Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. On the sidelines, he discussed bilateral relations with Saudi Deputy Minister of Media Dr. Abdullah bin Ahmed Al-Maghlooth and met with Lebanese media professionals residing in Qatar.
