Erbil:Minister of Culture Dr. Ghassan Salamé has arrived in Erbil, located in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. He was welcomed at the Erbil International Airport by Mr. Mohammed Said, the Minister of Culture and Youth of the Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, Dr. Salamé's visit is in response to an invitation to participate in the opening of the Erbil International Book Fair and its associated cultural events.
