MINISTER OF ENVIRONMENT CALLS FOR GIVING TOP PRIORITY TO CIVIL PEACE

Environment Minister, Nasser Yassine, stressed the need to give top priority to civil peace.

The minister urged all leaders to avoid sectarian rhetoric and return to quiet political debate that must remain in the public interest.

Interviewed by the VDTL, he said that no Lebanese can tolerate what took place last Thursday in Tayouneh and Ain-Remmeneh, warning against the resumption of such events.
