Beirut: Ministers of Education, Information, and State Reform are set to embark on a field tour on Tuesday to evaluate the pressing educational and humanitarian needs in Lebanon. The Minister of Education and Higher Education, Dr. Rima Karami, accompanied by Information Minister, Dr. Paul Morcos, and Minister of State for Administrative Reform, Dr. Fadi Makki, will commence the tour at 9:00 a.m., focusing on the urgent issues impacting the nation. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the itinerary includes visits to Zahia Salman High School and Dr. Sobhi Saleh Public School in Beirut. Both institutions have been providing shelter to displaced families, creating additional strain on the educational infrastructure. The ministers aim to assess the current state of affairs within these schools and understand the challenges that have arisen as a result of their dual role as educational facilities and temporary shelters.
