Lebanon’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants on Thursday issued the following statement:

“After consulting with the Lebanese Embassy in Ukraine, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants calls on all the Lebanese nationals residing in Ukraine to be extremely cautious and to remain in safe places. It also urges Lebanese nationals wishing to leave the Ukraine to register their names on the following link:

The Ministry is following up on Ukraine developments through political contacts with all concerned and friendly countries, including neighboring countries, to secure safe passages and facilitate the departure of Lebanese nationals who wish to do so.

The MoFA will issue subsequent statements explaining the steps to be taken in this regard.”
